From my very young age, my mother made me listen to Art Blakey, J.S.Bach, Django Reinhardt, Beethoven ou Georges Brassens, to mention those I particularly remember.
But for her, music was not essential, the most important was people. Many can testify to her generosity, her house was always open to anyone who needed her.
In recent years she had loved albums like "Hush" (Yo-Yo Ma and Bobby McFerrin), "Prairie Wind" (Neil Young) or the Goldberg Variations (Glenn Gould). I wanted her to discover "Blues Dream" by Bill Frisell, but time ran out.
